What I am passionate about
I am passionate about leveraging innovative methods and advanced numerical techniques to tackle industrial challenges and create value for businesses. Over the past 24 years, I have dedicated my efforts to integrating experimental and computational approaches, driving impactful solutions across diverse fields including petrophysics, enhanced oil recovery, CO2 capture, utilization and transport, biofuel production, polymers, plastic recycling, and lithium-ion batteries.
After more than four years in Belgium leading a numeric R&D department, I have returned to the Jean Féger Scientific and Technical Center of TotalEnergies in Pau, France. In my current role as Senior Innovation Lead, my mission is to solve complex industrial problems by testing groundbreaking tools and methods. Whether it involves applying Generative AI to optimize stock management and logistics, testing and deploying new numerical methods for the geosciences, innovating processes to reduce CO2 emissions in aviation activities, hybridizing power sources to improve efficiency and sustainability, or prototyping novel operational equipment, my focus is on proving business value and accelerating industrial deployment of new ideas within 6 to 12 months.

TotalEnergies E&P France
2010 – 2013
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer, I tackled a number of problems ranging from multi-dimensional NMR inversion for log acquisitions (for fluids differentiation in rocks), to experimental & numerical studies of Enhanced Oil Recovery EOR Processes (Polymer/Water flooding for Heavy/Viscous oil production, then Low Salinity Waterflooding). I was also in charge of building the High Pressure High Temperature microfluidics Lab that was used for numerical validation studies as well as EOR investigations.
